HopSkipJump - HOP for Babies
Hop! Skip! Jump! With instruments, colourful fabric remnants and squeaking objects, five musicians conceive a three-part series of family concerts and develop a many-faceted musical experience for the entire family through sound, movement and tactile sense. From baroque to contemporary music, from children's songs and pop songs, a story emerges, where the audience is invited to join in. Silence and sound, movement and relaxation take turns and weave the different musical works together. The "HopSkipJump" series dissolves the traditional rituals of a concert and invites young and old to participate in the events. Under a colourful canvas tent, the children can touch objects, conjure up a storm with drums on the floor and hide under the cushions on the ground. Taking the role of performers, the musicians play and guide through the pieces and come into close contact with the listeners. They encourage movements and stimulate sound interventions. The audience is invited to experience a multi-faceted world of sound both sensually and acoustically. The three concerts are aimed at three different stages of early childhood development - babies, toddlers and pre-school children. In all concerts, younger and older siblings, grandparents, aunts, uncles and friends are very welcome!
